New Tutorial: Gravity in AE
Jesse Toula on October 30, 2010 at 5:05 pm

In this tutorial, learn how to use expressions to create gravity in After Effects. With some basic functions and simple math, we can create a bouncing effect that can be used in all types of situations. Learn how to use expression controls to make your expressions easy to control and keyframe. There is some math that goes into writing this expression, but I will walk you through and explain each step. The tutorial is just over a half hour long, but once you get the hang of it, you could create this effect in just a couple of minutes.

This tutorial only walks you through the simplest example of this animation, so I encourage you to play with it and use it in more complex and interesting situations.
