Manual Track helps speed up your manual tracking workflow by allowing you to set a position keyframe and move a set number of frames with a single click.

Using Manual Track

To use Manual Track, first, click the stopwatch (set a keyframe) for the ‘Track Point’ property. Then hold down the ‘CTRL’ key and click anywhere in the composition window. This will set a position keyframe on the ‘Track Point’ property and advance the number of frames set in the ‘Step Size’ property.

Step Size sets the number of frames to advance after each click. The default is 1 frame, meaning it will go frame by frame. You can also set the step size to a negative number if you want to work backward.

Note: If you do not have keyframes enabled for the ‘Track Point’ property, the ‘Step Size’ will not have any effect and the timeline will not advance.
